When you're reading
Be sure to read the distance between 30 to 40 cm from the book to the eye. If the distance is too close, it will cause the eye muscle tense to focus. This can lead to headache
- Body position while reading
The position of the body should always straight back. Do not read while lying down. This will cause the eye muscle to work more to focus on the reading material. Thus, your eyes will become tired and watery.
- Avoid reading when in a moving vehicle
Reading when in the moving vehicle and the bumpy road condition can cause a headache and motion sickness. This happened because the eye's ability to focus become unstable when reading.
Lighting
Sufficient light is essential when reading. Make sure the lighting is not too dim or too bright when reading because it will interfere with the comfort and health of the eyes
Food for eyes
Proper nutrition plays an important role in maintaining eye health and preventing eye diseases. Make sure that the daily food that you take can provide essential nutrients to maintain eye health.
